After a bit of info/advice ,thinking of going 1 x 10 on my Trek fuel ex 5 2012
At the moment I have a standard 3 x 10 set up and only use the middle 33t ring , Can I just remove the granny ring and replace the large one with a bash guard, remove the front mech and away I go? Will be getting a oval narrow wide in the future.but will this do for the time being?

And info/advice greatfully received.

Thanks in advance

Paul

The answer is yes - it will work BUT.... depending on the riding you do the chain might just keep falling off so i would suggest getting a chain tensioner or a chain device I use this and the chain has never come off ( its cheap and does the job )
