But absolutely loving it - this thing flies and climbs like an e-goat!
Forget all you ever thought you knew about fat bikes!
5 rides in and I am never going skinny again!

It's so capable, it's unreal. Think of all the climbs of sketchy, loose, gravel that have defeated you...then think again...without even changing gear. |

That is a beaut I love it. For anyone who has a fatty, if you have a thule roof rack, can you get one of these on it at all? |

Yes no problem - you just take out the stock rubber ratchet bands and replace them with the longer, beefier ones. I use ones from a mate who's a LD lorry driver. Strap em down and away you go, even roadie toe straps would work. Another mate has bolted standard roof guttering to his Thule but I honestly don't think it's necessary. |

I had a quick Google after I asked and of course thule do an adapter that replaces the normal straps and plastic holder thing and they want 30 quid or something like that for them. To be fair a mate snapped one of mine last week so I am after new ones now but seeing as I only paid 60 quid for each rack they seem steep but I've not got much choice but to replace it.
I don't have a fatty but have started looking at a new bike and got straight on on ones site to see how much this fatty is and now I really want one. |

The replacement fatty shoes only fit the latest Thule...100 quid...NOT the one most of us have - be aware. |

Which spec did you go for treehugger? I'm seriously looking at pulling the trigger on one now but your colour isn't in stock at the moment and I don't fancy the blue. I don't think the extra 500 quid will be worth it for me but what you think? |

Naah - went for the middle spec? the NX1? I really don't think the XO1 is worth it.
NX1 changes sweetly and is perfectly good enough - it also doesn't cost near 200 quid for a new cassette, either!
Only other big difference is dropper and brakes. Got a dropper and the Levels are a great brake! |
