Thanks for the feedback & encouragement. Looks like I'll be coming along then Very Happy

I'm keen to ride in a group that's going to push me - I do most of my riding on my own and have got into a bit of a comfortable rut so need to break myself out of it.

Also, just got myself some SPD's this weekend so I may well be another addition to the falling trees club!

I might try to get along for this ride. It's a long time since I have any where near this route as I usually stick to road riding or MTB up guisborough, eston etc. I'd be riding from home (Nunthorpe) to get there and back.

It looks like I may need to miss this one unfortunately - been suffering from chain suck over the last week and need to replace some chain rings to sort it. Unfortunately, my LBS need to order them in (they are FSA and not too common apparently) so I'm going to stick to something a) local or b) as dry as possible to try and avoid getting stranded Crying or Very sad

thanks for the offer of a lift soshea. I am riding there out of choice. The weather forecast looks a bit dodgy for Sunday. High winds & rain/sleet?

Yes, plenty of room!

Yeh, we might have a bit of snow, especially as the route passes the highest point on the moors......
