Hi All.
How does Bike park wales Compare to Coed Y Brenin as in each others red or black trails, when we went to llandegla we found their blacks quite easy compared to other places. _________________ That's My Boy https://goingdownhillfastsite.wordpress.com/ |

All I can say about BPW is, their blues are a bit more like reds, I can't even do the blacks (That's not saying much mind) _________________ Trek Scratch Air 9

CyB & BPW don't really compare due to being completely different animals.
I had an amazing day a few weeks ago at BPW and all we did was blues & one red.
All the reds & blacks have qualifiers at the start of the run so you will be able to gauge if you can do them.

BPW is my local. It's a purpose built 'park' so you can't really compare it to anything around. Some of their reds are gnarly and quite hard to do whilst some of their blacks are really flowy.
If you go on their website, you can find a picture that shows all their trails on a graph type thing. It's techy trails to the left I think and flowy to the right.
Depending on what your style is, it's easy to plan your day off this chart.
Whatever you do, make sure you hit their blue plus 'popty ping'. Unreal. Blue trail so smooth and wide but fab jumps and table tops. You'll learn more on this trail for jumping and body positioning in corners than any black |

Hi All
We went about 2 weeks a go and had a great time, we were ridding up so didn't do as many trails as we would of liked to but we started off on Sixtapod, then Vicious Valley, then Vicious Valley with A470 and then down Terry's Belly to finish which for a blue was great so many bermed corners I was getting dizzy by the bottom. _________________ That's My Boy https://goingdownhillfastsite.wordpress.com/ |
