I've always liked 101Fc's, & when a friend had one in the mid-90's, it did nothing to dent my enthusiasm for them

Various companies/individuals have re-engineered them over the years, to incorporate diesel engines, power-steering, coli-suspension.

(mainly with a new chassis, as the main-rails are completely straight, & could have all the top-rails, cross-members & body-mounts welded on)

Heck!!, even Land Rover themselves, offered to retro-fit the British Armys fleet (with the Tdi), when the tender went out that saw the Army buying Pinzgauers

I was notified of this one, via a link on my FaceBook page

Mmm, very tempting..............

They're not that big really

They're shorter & almost as narrow as a (proper; 1970-1995) Range Rover

Length;
101FC = 14' 2"
RR = 15' 3"

Width;
101FC = 6' 0"
RR = 5' 10" (neither including mirrors)

Height;
101FC = 7' 0" (to highest point of canvas)
RR = 6' 0"
