Altura Night Vision Windproof Cycling Jacket.

Bought one of these at the end of last week from an on-line retailer at a ridiculously competitive price. Couldn't wait to get out and use it but a few days in the Dales walking put pay to that.
So, I've had it on 2 days in a row now, for about 2 hours at a time, and will definitely be putting it on again tomorrow for my 3 hour road ride, it's that good.
I opted for the BLACK version, I believe there's a YELLOW version too. The black has some highly reflective lettering and detailing strategically placed which is very effective in low light situations.

Here's the blurb from Altura:
"Highly reflective windproof jacket ideal for all types of winter riding. New design in improved fabrics for a better fit and a much sportier look and performance. Now also featuring LED loop compatible with the Night Vision Lightstick. "

First day I wore it, it was quite breezy and very chilly. The jacket didn't an excellent job of keeping me warm, the fit was fantastic, nice tight cuffs, good fit around the waist and a comfortable neck band. The fabric did an excellent job of keeping out any airflow, and keeping the warmth in.
Got a puncture whilst out, and true to form it started to rain at that exact moment. The fabric did a really good job of keeping the water out which surprised me whilst I was stood effecting a repair.
3 pockets at the back which are quite snug and one zipped, small compartment. The main zip is very easy to use even with gloves on and is nice and secure when fastened, ie doesn't slide down.
I've rated this jacket a 10 as I really like it and it does everything it says it should. Even at full price I think it's an excellent buy, if you can get it as cheaply as I did then you'd be well pleased.
