Well done John. Wink

You'll be able to sign up for our regular road ride slot, HarryB is organising.

Road bikes really are great fun, even more so once you have built that base layer of fitness up. There are some great deals on road bikes at the moment in the shops, I'd get yourself out and have a look in Westbrooks, Biketracks and even Bikescene who do nice offerings from the Specialized range.

John, Road bikes are a thing of great beauty and road riding is fantastic once you get fit. There are plenty of very quiet roads around our neck of the woods. I've done most of them but Gunner showed me a new one the other week and I use that a lot now. Once you find a good traffic free loop you can then add to it and make it bigger and better.

How much are you iintending to spend on the bike? I'm thinking of selling my No 2 bike in order to fund a new build I'm planning for the winter months.

Westbrook are brilliant to deal with. If you go in the lads are called Paul, Paul and Jason plus Jamie who's a top mechanic. Tell them that Prince Harry sent you and they'll look after you

Yeah, to echo what Harry said, there's plenty of traffic free or traffic quiet routes around the area and once you find them you can easily build longer routes out of them. And weekdays out on the Moorland roads are always pretty ruddy quiet if your shifts allow.

The one I'm thinking about selling is a 18 month old Scott CR1 pro. It's a size medium and would suit riders 5ft 9in to 6ft.

Oh I see. Plenty of time to grow then.
