Hey Gaz, did I see you out around the lakes on Sunday morning? there was a Guy with a similar looking machine wearing a black full face helmet going clockwise around king lears.

No wasn't me Magnus - its still in bits and will be for a little while. I can't ride for a bit following a small operation over christmas (nothing serious, won't boar you with the details!!). Nooooooooo two of them in the city?? Quite liked the rarity factor of it locally as well Very Happy
Did the fork today, took plenty of photos whilst doing it, so will resize and upload them later.

Pheeeew I am glad it wasn't you cuz this chap looked so out of place. he was wearing full on team all mountain gear complete with padding, knee protectors, full face etc, then he was bimbling along with his Mrs at 5 mph Laughing Laughing Laughing stuck out like a d*ck in a brothel he did Laughing Laughing Laughing

well done on the forks pal, piece of wee wee aren't they.(cant say piss on here) I use a fine torque wrench on the little nuts. if you need to borrow give me a shout i can always pop over. the other thing I do is leave the nuts on a couple of threads when knocking through just while starting them off; then fully remove for the last push through. cant risk damaging those threads. Shocked

LOL!! I bet he did look stupid!! You'll know me if you see me - all my gears black.. lid, shirts, glovers, shorts, kneepads, shoes - some say the Darth Vader look...... I prefer to think it as Luke Skywalker in return of the jedi - only without the mechanical hand of course!!
Yeah, not as tricky as people think! Was gonna do it the way you said but tbf I'm quite accurate with the old hammer (oh I do love using one!!)so knew I wouldnt cause any damage. Nice one on the torque wrench offer mate.
Once I'm riding again, will have to hook up with you guys for a ride Very Happy

If anyone is interested in doing this themselves and wondering where to get the bits then this is where I got mine from -

http://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/plushsuspension

I purchased the fork kit as well as the rear shock kit, hopefully going to do the rear shock early next week, so pics to follow!

So everything is clean and the new seals are in. Time to put the foams in then - I have adjusted the exposure on pictures two and three... it makes for a crap picture overall but hopefully it shows the detail of the foams going in that we need to see.

Literally couldn't agree more with this!

One thing, where did you get that syringe from? I got one from Epic Bleed solutions, it's great but the increments aren't marked very well between the main numbers. The one you have looks really accurate.
