It's his name (I think), hidden by some shoddy ms paint work lol, could have at least used the colour sample tool to get a more realistic white Wink

Well, since its rebuild and a few months of on/off riding I thought I'd give you an update of my bike, how its riding and future plans.

Due to a few health issues that I've been suffering over the last 24 months, I've not managed to get quite as much time on it as I would like (but we could all say that about limited riding time!!). But, one thing I do know is I LOVE this bike!! Just total fun to ride, it never fails to put a smile on my face!!

Just a couple of pics of how it looks now......

So with the time I have spent riding it, is there anything I would change?? Do I have any more upgrades planned??

On the whole, the bike is perfect for me/my riding. I have the rear shock working perfectly and the fork isn't far off (just a bit of tweaking on the rebound damping needed). REALLY pleased with where it is now...

BUT..... Things I'd like to change/will change...

I put a hans dampf trailstar on the front which transformed the front end grip, but in my endless tweaking and fiddling with pressures, I ran it too low for a while and have cracked the casing....

To replace that tyre, I have another one on order.

Big things?? Much as I like the 32 float fork, I feel it is a little 'twangy' - so maybe next year I may look at a Kashima coat 34 or maybe even a Pike.

Over the winter the wheels may have a rebuild, I'll keep the Pro Evo 2 hubs but DT swiss spokes, blue alloy nipples and Stans Arch rims may be the preferred spec and then a tubeless conversion. (Want more than need!!).

I have a couple of other bits I have acquired during my downtime following my op last week, so once I'm more mobile, they will find their way onto it - Hans Dampf pacestar for the rear, Hope Stainless BB and Shimano M530 pedals. Other than that its finished (lol they never are!!). Oh and I still have to strip the rear shock and do a 'how to'...that'll be over the winter now I think!!
