hi guys, new member here needs help!!

basically i have a ddg shooter frame, the headset bearing was shot meaning the forks had play. had a new crane creek headset fitted and now i have the same play again. i dont trust the bike shop to do a proper job so want to have a bash myself. i assume the bearings are adjustable, if so, is it possible to sort it? hoping to have it sorted by monday as im away for a week and need the bike useable really.

cheers

mike

If the bearings are shot again then i am afraid that it will require a new headset again. It can sometimes be a couple of things either the frame has not been faced correct (ie the surfaces are parallel) or the crown race is not square on the fork crown. Try the link below which might help you a bit more...
