This is not me considering a professional career although I would love to know how I would go about any format of sponsorship. I would like to get spondered for shopping as I feel like I have good potential I rode the world cup twice and can already keep up with most of the locals so I feel if I got sponsored and a decent bike I could easily win so races not the major ones but some races. Do you guys know if I could I ever get a sponsor.

By winning races, good results and getting noticed, there are no short cuts to success.

There's also probably a little bit of "Who you know" aswell as what you know. Same with everything. Just make yourself scene/heard. If you're good enough the attention will come to you.

It takes a single minded attitude and absolute devotion(ie-on the trails every available second).Dieting, conditioning and strength also need to be considered. No nights out with the lads and while they are out you are out on the bike.
A lot of things need to be considered before you even think about a sponsor.
Should you ever go down that route.

It depends on what level of sponsorship for what purpose. For charity events it is a lot easier. As a more pro rider approach you have to sell yourself as a brand that works well with other brands image and aims. Also you have to be technically good at what is needed, come across correctly in the media and be prepared to travel.

It is more like running your own pr business.
