That's a very heavy frame (in excess of 3kg) and couple that with those beefy Tora 318 forks in excess of 2.5kg and it's thats a big beastie

very bombproof though

In comparison, the Virtue frame came in at about 1.8kg. Can't remember how much the SID RCT3 forks weighed, although I do remember that when they were delivered, I thought they'd sent me an empty box

Edit - listed weight for the 26" SID RCT-3 QR is 1.35kg

That's just the frame and forks - don't forget all the other stuff

I really must get around to weighing them

I'm a Cotic fan personally but a lot of people love Stanton's and Ragley's, just scour the second hand market and see what's out there then decide , always rode Ally fron 90's through to about 2014 , got a Genesis Altitude 853 frame cheap (had a Stumpy M5 at the time ) , swapped all the bits over and my current view is it would have to be very special to tempt me back to ally .

The only 2nd hand place I know of is pink bike, or are there more? There's eBay but unless you know a specific bike you want it isn't very good, you never know I could take a fancy to any of the materials apart from TI as they just seem ridiculously expensive, or is that just me?

You need to have an idea of what type of riding and where you are going to be riding to choose a bike , once you have an idea then you can narrow down the search criteria on fleabay, pinkbike, farcebook etc , if not doing anything too silly then just go to go outdoors and look at the calibre stuff as it ain't half bad for the money , on one usually have good deals on too .

Likely it will be road work and light trail work, no jumping or small jumps if any, I'll take a look now and see what they've got

In which case a full suspension or hardcore hardtail would be a bit overkill
