Thanks guys - glad to help as a Newbie. Any further info, just ask. Very Happy

One final thought - although NiMH batteries weigh a bit less than the standard lead-acid ones, a 6-pack of these big MoFo 1.2V 10Ah ones actually weighs a teensy bit more than the standard 6v lead acid ones. That having been said, it does burn 85% brighter and give over double the burn time - small price to pay in my book! Laughing

Weight-concious riders may therefore decide to go for 6 x 1.2V smaller C-cell; obviously less weight and shorter run time. Heaviest C-cell NiMH I've seen is 5000mAh and of course, you can buy ready-made 7.2v packs from model shops, as they run electric model race cars and the like. Loads on eBay with search against '7.2v NiMh'.

The much-mentioned 'Tamiya' plug is a standard on most of these and Maplins have the female adaptor to solder onto any fitting you chose. Razz
