Just thought I'd upload a map of the proposed Forum Ride for March. It's my first go at this, hopefully I will improve with practice!!!

Hi Gunner,

Did you mean that you haven't done this route before or just posted a pic?
Its a good route with some good climbs, may require some pushing at this time of year. It has the option to add a loop to Hob hole, if feeling brave. I nearly cried the first time I did that route, single track with boulders & rock that mess with pedals & momentum! Crying or Very sad

Why not take in Cooks Monuments on the climb out & cut through Mill bank wood to avoid too much climbing on the way back? Smile

Cheers,

Sean

Good, you'll enjoy it Denny.

The Hob Hole option loop is a very frustrating bit of ride, once you climb up out of that beck it's maddening singltrack almost all the way to the Westerdale road, I find it very difficult to get any sort of pedal rythm going due to the rocks jutting out from the heather.
