Can't commit to it yet - think I'm going to go to Dalby the Sunday before to test ride some Specializeds so might not be able to get out the week after - will see nearer the time though.

I was just lookin at Hamsterley trailblazers site and for their monthly club ride in May they're having an 'away day'. Do you fancy doing something similar for a forum ride later in spring?

no takers on away day ride then lads. Twisted Evil

I have bought the Yorkshire Dales MTB Ride book, which seems very, very good, and was hoping to get over there to plot a few routes out this week with a view to organising a number of rides in the Dales late Spring and through the Summer, however the recent snow has put paid to that idea for now......... Does that mean you actually get off and walk? Shocked
Might get myself along to this one and see how my fitness is coming along. Although I may do it in reverse and see if we meet you half way! Wink

Do this route in reverse and your fitness will come on in leaps and bounds, I gaurantee it............. Wink

The climb out of Baysdale up to the Intakes is fierce!!!!

The climb of Middle Head, it's sheer length is character building!!!!

Crossing Middle Head Top,just plain tiring after the previous climb.

Climbing Turkey Nab Shocked Shocked and crossing Battersby Crag Confused Confused

Then doing Bankside................. Shocked

Be a great ride to do another time if anyone feels up to it, I'll certainly do it if anyones in, maybe in 2 or 3 weeks time.

Saturday or Sunday Question

Sorry, can't make this ride for two reasons: -

1. Going to Twickenham to watch England v France - wahoo!
2. Have only got my Giant at the mo and there's no way I'm climbing anything steep on that cart horse!!

However.....I'm heading up to Askrigg for A 2-hour ride on Sat AM with my mate Tony and Sean (SeanO) - I've room for one more in my motor if anyone fancies it? (Gunner, sorry for posting here Rolling Eyes ).

Sounds good, despite the forecast rain.

I'm off work and would have loved it but a new bedroom shall be arriving some time afer noon......... Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

So I'll only be able to manage a quick blast on the road bike, as when I read noon, Saturday, I expect some time after 1000hrs but before 1730. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

So that's a day down the pan, sorry to ramble on....... Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed

I hear you there! I was expecting a new bed for one of my boys and I'd arranged for it to be delivered at work (so no-one was left stranded at home). The delivery guy turned up at 7 am! You can't win Evil or Very Mad

Sorry you can't make it mate - I only grabbed the chance last-minute myself (haven't been out for last two weekends!)
