Took my OCR Team Replica road bike out for a spin today, first time since last October and quite frankly I'd almost forgotten how fast it is Shocked

Made a change to be out riding with only a long sleeve top on as well, and no jacket.
Headed out through Stokesley, onto Great Broughton and then climbed Clay Bank with a strongish headwind in my face, and legs that were feeling quite strong.
Stopped at the top just long enough for a quick photo;

AND ANOTHER...........

Then it was back down Clay Bank, at speed, with hardly a turn of the pedals until I got to Great Broughton, then it was top gear and standing on the pedals until Stokesley after which I eased back a bit.

Nice to be out on the road bike again Very Happy Very Happy

The pictures and ride were yesterday Sean, when the wind wasn't too bad, but yes, I have been out again today on it, and the wind was awesome.

Luckily I managed to do a route round Rudby, Stokesley and Ayton that managed to have the wind at my back most of the time and was flying along, but riding near the Treebridge Hotel across to Newby was absolute murder, real hard slog even in quite a low gear.
