I really liked the look of these when they were released a couple of years back and when the opportunity arose to pick one up for a relative pittance which coincided with some good news on a work front I had to go for it.

A couple of bits needed sorting - I've still to properly align the tyre label above the valve on the rear tyre (I'm fussy about that both aesthetically and for practical reasons re punctures) as well as chopping the excess off the stem when I've got the riding position dialled in.

Looking forward to taking it out for a proper ride! I can only get away with it being in the lounge as the wife is away!

Looks good

I had a look at their Aero bike the other week at Birkin Café, & was told afterwards who it belonged to............

Mine is the prior aero model, it's a couple of years old and you can see a few differences to the new model. But then I didn't pay £1500 for it - nothing like! Laughing

If it helps me dish out even a fraction of the pain to my riding buddies that The Train continues to dish out per the write ups on PlanetX's site, I'll be happy!

There's not many can hand out the suffering like him, even now he's 50

A couple of riding collegues at work, who know him, & myself often wonder what he'd have done, if he'd chosen a career on the Continent

He'd have more than likely been a hell of a Spring Classics rider
