Hi guys,

Relatively new to this again, what basic gear would you recommend for atarting out riding again? Also what basics tools spares would u suggest for rides?

Helmet, gloves, padded shorts, decent shoes. Plus whatever is required for the weather conditions. And water. Don't forget to stay hydrated.
Mutlitool, tyre levers, inner tube(s), pump.

'bout covers it.
As mentioned ,for the adverse weather a waterproof/showerproof jacket that packs away into a bag preferably.
And long cycling trousers could be added too,as they saved my legs when I got caught in hailstones,rain and thunder and lightning in the middle of May last year high up in the middle of nowhere !!!

Get a floor pump and work stand as soon as possible. Not because you will think it's an essential, but because you'll wonder why you didn't get them sooner 1 year down the line or so when you really do take the plunge

(Obviously get a bike first)
