After much deliberation I finally pulled the trigger on one of these:
http://www.freeborn.co.uk/specialized-epic-fsr-comp-carbon-world-cup

Due in the UK tomorrow and should be with me mid next week.

I wanted to jump in the game with some of these modern things so a 29'er carbon full suss, with 1x11 ticks enough boxes over my fully rigid 26'er.

Cheers guys.

Looking forward to seeing if it goes as fast as it looks.

Its landing in the UK today, first delivery of the 2017 bikes from specialized and should be with the dealer probaby tuesday given the BH monday. So with a bit of luck im expecting it to land on my mat mid-late next week.

The XL size I got was the last one, all the allocated uk stock in that size is now already sold out. They may be bringing more into to uk but it will be later next year. Shocked

I think Nino rides a scott but i'll let you off Wink

I'v got a Thompson dropper in the bits box looking for a home so that is going on.

Need to convert the wheels to tubeless too, they just need valves apparently so that should be straightforward.

For some reason I can't get the images to link properly but they are on my Strava link.

Took it out for the first real ride and its a great bike, I think its slightly shorter up front than im used to so im going to try it with a 10mm longer stem.
