I tell ya what these On-One frames looks fantastic, love the smoothness at the crank end, all blends lovely.
Your colour choice is spot on, the final finish is perfect mate. Are you fitting some more gold parts to tie it all in?

Yep they are great frames. I will be fitting gold parts. Have a gold Chris King headset and BB coming (eventually) Gold Hope Pro 2 hubs that will have gold floating disks, Pedals, Seat Clamp. Did think about golds Handlebars but thought might be a bit OTT? So opted for matt black FRS handlebars with gold lettering.

Your list of gold items is perfect, I think your right gold bars maybe too much. Seen the Hope hubs before and they look sexy.

Can't wait forge the updated pics Wink

Sounds like it's going to be a sexy build mate. Very Happy Any idea as to when it'll be complete?

Depending on which grips you use, you could even get gold lock rings. Very Happy

Had some red lock ring grips on my last bike, so will be looking at gold for this one too, just forgot to list em lol. I would like to get the bike finished in the next month, but having house rewired so thats taking all the spare cash to get my parts Sad at the moment

A bit more progress to the build.....Fitting Threadless Headset. Its only taken 3 weeks to arrive was so excited Very Happy

Chris King Tapered Threadless Headset 1.1/8-1.5

Now just have to fit it. First get rid of the rubbish bottom race coller the forks came with, done this by prying off with a screw driver

And the new chris king bottom race, much more beefier. I smeared some water proof grease around the taper of the head tube to help it slide on (nothing like a bit of loub when trying to fit a shaft into a ring Shocked )

Here is my race fitting tool......an axle stand! The tube of the stand is the perfect fit over the shaft and sits perfectly on the race coller, I can wack it on all 3 sides for a nice straight fit (worth remebering)

And there we have it, a nice snug fit

Next fitting the cups, slap on the good ol grease again

Here is the components of my home made headset press

And a little reaming of the hole Shocked Wink

The tool fitted, the idea is to wind the nut at each end in which will force the caps in Laughing in theory but it started to wind em in at an angle due to the tool pulling slightly bias to one side.

So another solution was needed, i needed to be able to move the bolt or frame about to get the cup in square, so i done one cup at a time. I locked the bottom nut into the vice so i only had one nut to tighten this gave me a free hand to move the frame or bolt when needed, worked a treat.

and Voila!!

Also remember if there is a name or logo on the cups to line them up before pressing in Wink I did but it turned slightly without me knowing now the word KING is so slightly off centre Evil or Very Mad

And the forks tried in for size. I covered the bearings with waterproof grease prior to forks going in.

Here is another delivery Very Happy

I love Saint stuff, it might be a bit overkill for your build but who cares. Very Happy
