Not sure when the first proper outing will be ... possibly next w/end now Crying or Very sad (wedding anniversary tomoz, and I had 7hrs in the tattooists chair yesterday Shocked .. so a bit sore is an understatement Embarassed )

I'll pop out locally tho in the week after work Wink ... most of the set up tweeks to suit me are done now, so just gotta see what its like on the rough stuff Twisted Evil

The slack head angle is a bit weird to get used to, but getting onto the Trek straight after makes the Trek feel like a toy Laughing .. love um both tho Very Happy

Cheers mate ... its 66degrees on them, which feels a little strange to me at the mo after a 120mm XC bike , tho I've no doubt I'm gonna get addicted to this thing once I use it in anger Twisted Evil

That is pretty slack. My hardtail is 67 with a 140mm fork. Love it. The xc bike doesn't get a look in anymore.

Yeah that is with a 160mm fork tho to be fair, I cant wait to put it through its pace's, the Trek is a tough little cookie following the mods I've done, but this is in a different league for soaking up the abuse Very Happy

Cheers Very Happy

Literally the ONLY thing that bugs me with it (and this is being picky) is the fact that because of the rear shock geometry/placement .. it means you cant hang it on the bike stand with the top tube, and I'm not gonna grip the Reverb stanction, but other than that I absolutely love it Cool

I've swapped the pads for Nukeproof sintered already, and got a 200mm front rotor on its way (I like my stoppers Wink ) .. but that's it .. its gotta earn its place in the garage now Twisted Evil

If you haven't already done so get some heli tape on the top tube and any other areas that are likely to come in contact with cables, knees pads shoes etc etc. The paint on the Megas is fairly thin and wears through easily
