Just out of interest, at the moment how many are riding a tubeless set up and who's doing it the regular way with inner tubes?

Tubeless all the way! I'm running Maxxis dual plys set up tubeless on Stans Flow rims at the moment and it's perfect. I'm riding lift assisted stuff in the Alps at the moment and everything is properly rock, rooty and loose and there's loads more grip than running tubes. Then there's the fact that you don't puncture. It's a no brainer for me.

I've only just got a cheap tubeless kit before this weekend, I've had some minor problems but otherwise I've been impressed . Will reserve judgement until I've had them for a bit longer.

Did anyone notice a bit more flex from their tyres when going tubeless? It feels a bit like they're rolling around on the rim, may just be a psychological thing though...

I noticed tyres rolling around on the rim when I was running single plys. You've just got to run a tiny bit more pressure to hold the tyres up. I haven't had it since i've moved to dual plys though, because of the stiffer sidewalls, and i'm only running about 16-18psi.

Tubeless and wouldnt go back.

Ran ghetto for 18 months witout an issue, until the solution ran dry, punctured through sidewall. They were standard tyres though.

Gorrila tape ghetto , 6 months now , no probs , after initial sealing due to cold weather I've had to put a few psi in once
