Hi Guys & Gals. Only joined in the few weeks, so it's good to be in forum. I live in Stockton on Tees and was born just off Bridge Road, where the Wobbly Goblin now stands (no I was'nt born in there) Me, Gran had a house there in Park Terrace.

I enjoy both road and mtb and mainly into cycle-camping which is really cycle touring in a sense. I started cycling when I was 13 years and me Mum and Dad could not afford me a new bike, so it was 2nd hand for me. I did get a new bike from Halfords in Dovecot street, a Raleigh Rapid for £35. that was 5 gears. Later on in 1980, I took out a loan for £200 and got super touring bike called Corsair by Carlton. That bike went everywhere, the Yorkshire Dales, Moors and Wolds. One of my best rides was from Edinburgh to John O' Groats using Sustrans route 1, one of my easy rides was from Harwich to Middlesborugh using again route 1 and the White Rose. Sadly the Corsair was looking a bit of worn and tear. I sold it for £30 and got a Dawes Kara-Kum in it's place.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy some off-roading too. Hoping to get more done this year.

Anyway enough of that and I have a couple of tours in line for this year, hoping to do the Walney to Whitby or vice versa joining the C2C making it a double. I have done the Wheelwrights (The Black Sail and Walna Scar route) Superb ride.

I do some walking, which i enjoy. I did the Pennine Way and Coast to Coast, but am focusing on cycling for this year. My true aim is the Le-Jog.

Hi, Agman, welcome to the Forum.

Although this may seem like a predominantly MTB based site we're pleased to welcome riders/cyclists of any persuasion, as we attempt to grow the site and help create a network enabling local cyclists to meet up and enjoy the fantastic cycling oppurtunities this area has to offer.

What a fab idea, got a couple of Coaster 2 Coaster's in line for this year. Could be a possible W2W + C2C or vice versa, need to sort dates outs and overnights. Week should be ample.
