Just noticed in Tesco earlier today, they are doing hydration backpacks, Camelbacks to you and me, 1.5 litre reservoir and 6 litre bag space, seem quite ok, and a real bargain at £9.97.

I know how much you guys like your bags Wink Wink

Just found this link, take a look

i agree with gunner, dont be a brand whore! mine cost 15 quid from motoroworld, and holds water just as leak free as a 60 quid camelback does. Wink

I find the "traditional" hydration packs very overpriced!!!

I have a one I bought at Aldi, it must be 5 years old now and is still in great condition, and was well worth the money (very little) I paid for it.

These Tesco ones are great value for money, Wink

i bought my friend one from aldi Gunner. i must say, very spacious for tools and stuff when full of water too. im a bit gutted actually, as i bought his couple of days after i bought mine. i would of saved 7 quid or whatever. still, i never see the point on paying more for something just because of a name.

I have the Camelbak Classic which I find a bit limited to what you can carry. Still a good piece of kit. The Tesco's version likes a good buy.

Top Tip: To prevent a mouldy & whiffy hydration bladder, give it a rinse out when you get home then just bung it in the freezer till next time.

Cheers,

Sean

PS Dont leave it in the garage to fester for 6 weeks like me! Embarassed

Had a pop into Tesco first thing this morning to get a copy of Cycling Weekly, not a ruddy Hydration Backpack left on the shelves (not that I wanted one), methinks maybe a lot might be appearing on Ebay Confused Confused

Plenty of hydration rucsacs in Tesco Stockton, at top of Hardwick/Roseworth estate. I could get one for you, before there all go.

No your all right, agman, I don't want one thanks. I just thought I'd have a look at the cycling gear while I was in there, I bought a pack of handlebar grips, only £2.47, exactly the same as the pair I just paid £6 for in Halfords over the road last week Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

I hope you didn't pay full price, these were in the "bargain" bins for £2 only a month or two ago in my Tesco without the bag and in their own brand cheap packaging.

I picked 3 up Embarassed Embarassed
