Hi guys, great forum and seems a friendly place, now I wonder if I could pick your brains...

Through my works cycle2work scheme I have to use HALFORDS and a budget of £500 only.

I want a MTB as I already own a Boardman Hybrid for the road.

I have looked at 3 but can't decide, any tips or ideas to help me?

The 3 are

Carrera Kraken - £449

Voodoo Hoodoo - £449

Carrera Banshee - £399

Thanks, the help would be appreciated

I almost bought a kracken, its a kracken (ahem) bike for the money IMO... Very Happy
A mate has just bought a Hoodoo, he likes it but as usual it needs a wee bit of tweeking as it was built by one of Halfords numpties.....
I think its a mater of what you like the look of really, there aint much to choose between them, other than the Voodoo's were designed by an ex mtb racer.

HTH,
Gaz

Another one to throw into the mix - better quality forks and decent brakes.
