Hi
Just started getting back into VTT/MTB after a long break so thought I'd join this forum to help me along the (right) way.
I'm still riding a Marin Palisades trail that I bought new in 97!
So I'm a slightly more mature rider(Ha-ha) and an SPD virgin BUT
Just got myself some shimano MT32 shoes and waiting for the M424 pedals/cleats to arrive.
Should be fun and hopefully I'll be able to get the thing off the ground now.

Hi Booney and welcome to the Forum.
I'm a preivious Marin Palisdaes owner, bit earlier though, '92, still a ruddy
good bike though, did a lot of racing on it. _________________ Oh what fun we had, but at the time it seemed so bad, trying different ways.................... |

Thanks Gunner
I've also been very pleased with the Marin, although it's a bit 'old skool' now. I'll probably get another one soon as I could really do with getting up to date!
Anyway have to get up to speed 1st - out for a snowy muddy wet ride later.
Cheers
