Just got a set of these on my new training bike but having a bit of difficulty with figuring out how to ...

1. ... loosen the clamp that holds these onto the bar. Standard looking clamp but when I pull down the the lever and look inside, I can't see the expected Allen key nut. Are these hidden under the rubber like Campag ones? I've had a look there as well but no luck. Sad

2. ... remove the gear inner wires from the levers. As these are side entry stylee, I'd expect the cables to come out the same way and although the R/H one has a hole in there that seems to be the right size for a gear cable nipple, it doesn't seem to wanna come out. Also, doesn't seem to be any sign of a similar hole on the other lever.

Shimano Techdocs pages don't seem to help much .... anyone got these and messed about with them?

TIA

Thanks Stu. I could only find the docs that had the exploded diagram for spare parts. Very Happy

Now all I have to do is buy up some Dura Ace stickers and put them over the Sora names on there .... Wink

... at least they had the foresight to mark the front changer with a stick-on badge ... now decorating the bin. Cool
