I am running a Kona Unit 2-9 singlespeed with Titec H Bars. The braked are Avid Juicy 5's which fit well but the levers are a little short. Ideally I would just like to replace the levers with longer ones - any ideas what might work?

If I cannot do this then what other brands or brakes come with longer levers?

Maybe road or bmx levers would work?

Thanks

I cant see why you would want/need longer levers. The power on the Juicy 5s means that one finger braking should be easy, especially on something like a Kona Unit. Confused
Replacement levers need to be brake specific and aftermarket levers (e.g. Dangerboy) tend to be quite expensive. No BMX or road would not work. Have you tried adjusting the reach or position of the lever?

I dont need them, but because of the positioning they are a little awkward - longer levers would help.

I have bar tape on the bars so would have to remove that first before moving the brakes, also the cable is tight so i might need a longer cable too...

I'm well confused! Confused
Have you got any pics of the bars and lever setup?

I did have a pair of Shimano Kit-Kat levers a few years ago but TBH, as index and middle finger do most of the pulling, it didn't make much of a diffo.
