Another COLD, WINDY, GREY day, will I be glad when Summer, or even something that feels remotely like Spring arrives Rolling Eyes

Decided to ride to work today and do a long ride home, which I did. 1 hour 40 minutes for 22mile, which wasn't bad as I was on the MTB.

I also picked a route with a few steep climbs, but what really took the edge of it was that non stop in your face cold wind which stopped me getting any real pace up. I managed to pass 2 other roadies who were struggling into the wind between Gibber and Ayton, but by the time I was getting out towards Stokesley the cold was really seeping through my gloves and I was starting to lose the will, know what I mean Crying or Very sad

And then as I rode out of Ayton to Stokesley, looking up at the Incline and Urra Moor, there seemed to have been a decent sprinkling of snow up on the tops..............

So at Tanton Bridge I cut my losses and turned for home, into the sodding wind again, it seemed to be coming from every direction today..........
