Sean have you thougth what kind of full sus you want (xc, Trail, All Mountain) With the level of kit on your hardtail you could look for a frame only or frame and fork deal. There's lot's of good bike's out there and then you need to start thinking about what colour it has to be Laughing so many thing's to consider Laughing good luck

I was looking at the Prophet before I bought the Orange, nice bike similar design to the 5. The Giant Trance X 2 looks ok too.

Don't have a Trance SeanO but I got an XTC4 and an SCR4 which are both Giant hence the reason I'm biased!!!

Have you not thought about a Specialized, SeanO.

I have always been a fan of the Specialized FSR range, and I wonder if Bikescene have any of these left;

http://www.bikescene.co.uk/moreinfo.php?variation=911&sale=0

It's at a very competetive price for such a spec.

Or, what about calling into Biketraks and having a chat with them and see what sort of discount they would be prepared to offer you as a MTBE member on their excellent Giant range Wink Wink

Got my new Giant Trance 3 on Saturday at Biketraks. Price in shop window £995. Free chain guard and shock air pump all for the price of £930. Only one ride on it so far (15 miles). Obviously still needs bedding in but happy with it so far. Staff at Biketraks were very helpful and they dont make you feel they are having your eyes out. Fingers crossed for the bike Very Happy

Aint keen on the position of the shocks on the Scott's do like the look of the new Treks and also like Gary Fishers Hi-fi just to add to the confusion there is also the 29er versions too.

Had a quick look at the four this morning - Cannondale appears to be a good un but might be a bit more than 30lbs I suspect.

From the Giant range, I'd be leaning toward the Trance X I think - XC rideability with the ability to throw downhill without complaint too. See here for a bit more:

http://www.singletrackworld.com/article.php?sid=2490

Other two look OK too, I don't think you'd go to far wrong with any of them.
