Yeh, after I posted I read mbr and wondered about doing the 'hard' route they've got in this month - from car park, up to highcliff, over moors to kildale, up the hill on other side, back down, round bottom of capt. cooks, back via aireyholme farm. 22 miles. Similar route to what we've done before but looks OK.

The main trails are nice and dry, and very fast as a result of this, but as soon as you go off them then it's very muddy. As long as there's no rain tonight that wind should do a good job of drying out everywhere. _________________ Big wheels keep on turning, Carry me home to see my kin..............

Posted: Sun Apr 27, 2008 12:08 pm    Post subject: Well, looks like I shouldn't have mentioned rain as there must have been bucket loads of it come down in the night A lot of the roads on this mornings ride had a significant amount of water lying on them with some huge puddles at the roadsides in some places, so I guess it must have been muddy going up in the woods _________________ Big wheels keep on turning, Carry me home to see my kin..............
