Nice, someone is going to get fit!!!

Is it a "fixed wheel" or just a single speed with a freewheel?

single speed with freewheel, using a 16t spocket at back, and mid ring up front 38t, Darren can let me know if he's happy with the gear ratios, as i can adjust to suit.

I hope Darren is going to let us know how it rides and what those gear ratios feel like on the road, and also whether any adjusting needs to be done.

What tyres are they, they look like Nokia City Slickers?

Did you buy them for this bike or did you already have them, I think you could have got away with a 1.25 that's all, I had a similiar project bike with 1.5's on and moved to 1.25's after a ride to Scarborough and back. I found the 1.25's much faster and lighter.

hi gunner originally got the tyres when i did the coast to coast last year the lads at bike scene recommended them at the time and also for the anti puncture aspect as well.As i writing this i can't wait till tomorrow when i can get my hands on the bike and give it a blast all thanks to John for putting it all together.
