im after some new jerseys and maybe a jacket. ive had a look at the aldi ones. although they seam stupidly cheap, i dont really like the design of them. any help appreciated. another point id like to make is the fact that i dont pay 50 quid for a top. so some stuff within a realistic price bracket would be appreciated.

cheers

Bikescene at Guisborough had a sale on, they usually have a good selection of clothing, or, if you don't mind shopping on the net, I like to use Ribble Cycles, and their sizing is pretty spot on:

Hello Alex,

I'd try ChainReactionCycles, UK Bikestore and Wiggle - they sell off a lot of last years kit really cheap - you can get Gill / Enduro kit for less than 50 quid.

Been there, ripped the t-shirt Alex! Even when I started wearing pads I always landed on me threads!

Still, mustn't grumble! One day I might be a good rider!

Alex,

You could try one of these when they come into the area.

up in sunderland in sept. but they have last years season clothes with them from Altura etc and it cheap.

Other than that the Gill stuff from Chainreaction is good with good prices.

If you've got a TK Max anywhere near, they often have Icebreaker Merino tops for between £17 & £25 depending on whether it's a base layer or mid layer. Really good quality - bit like howies stuff.
Merino really does work, but usually is £50 a top.
