might try and do a summer one...
av heard one of the yorkshire series is in richmond this year (winter race)
and were planning on running that as the north east champs...
note: not the northern champs, as we want to run another one as northern is massive compared to northeast... |

If you take a look at the details via the link, it tells you that the races are split into only 2 catagories; Under 14 & Over 14.
So... if you're 14+, you'll be racing with the Ladies, Juniors, Seniors & Veterans - we all go together
Numbers of Over 14's on start-lines;
Round 1. Keighley = 52
Round 2. Sheffield = 34
Round 3. Huddersfield = 58
Round 4. Greetland = 54 (near Halifax)
Round 5. Kippax = 47 (east of Leeds, just off A1)
Round 6. Greetland = 54
Round 7. Huddersfield = 55 _________________ Richard A Thackeray

Due to one reason, & another, I didn't get to this opening round, I managed to fit a run in instead (my longest so far!)
Doubt I'll be at Round 2 in a fortnight (Wednesday 20th May) either, so roll on Round 3 (Wed 3rd June) _________________ Richard A Thackeray

It's almost here
Colne Valley High School at Linthwaite (western part of Huddersfield, on the way to Slaithwaite)
Then... it's another one on Sunday.
'We're' up at Helmsley, racing in the grounds of Duncombe Park, as a support event to the Ryedale Grand Prix, along with the North Yorkshire Schools Youth Mountain Bike Championships (possibly using part of the same course?)

It was a hard one!, seeing as I've not raced since December , I felt like I was going backwards on the first lap (could have done with one of those reversing alarms off a truck)
Still, I finished & bet some other people - albeit not many

Do you mean the Cross?, the MTB championships?, or the Road-Race?
The Road-Race starts at 11:30 in Duncombe Park itself
The Cross is at 11:45 (U14'a) & 13:30 (14+)
Not sure about the MTB race time

Not sure, could be some long haired teenager
It's the Aire Valley RT (or similar) as far as I'm aware, but I can't see number 99 in the results.
