Just floating the idea of an evening road ride some time over the next 2-3 weeks. Don't need to be on a road bike to do it, and pace would be quite relaxed over a distance of about 20-25 mile. Looking at a relatively level route with some easy climbs.

I would propose starting at Yarm railway station, with it's adequate parking for anybody wanting to get to the start by car. Looking for a 1800hrs start.

Head off towards Richmond, turn off for Great Smeaton. At Great Smeaton turn off for Appleton Wiske, follow on to Crathorne and then head for Hutton Rudby. Through Rudby heading for Hilton but turn off for Foxton Bridge and head for Kirklevington Prison, turn left at same for Yarm Station.

Just to repeat that the pace will be "Easy" for this ride.

I will post further, or not Laughing depending on the response.......

Cheers. Wink

Yes, at the moment this still on, and according to the forecast it looks good.

I just hope that I am in a position to ride on Tuesday as I am in quite bad shape after todays "off" up on the moors......A&E is still looking like an option Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes
