Greg, I've read somewhere recently that they weigh in at about the 24 to 24.5 pound mark, I'd be more interested to know what price they are being knocked out for Question Question

Does that weight seem about right, badblood Question

Hi guys, cheers for the comments, they can come in at about 24-25lbs but need a lot of money on componentry to get it that low. I wanted someting that could take a hammering so wasn't too concerned with the wieght but am happy with 27lbs which isn't bad for neigh on 6 inches of travel. The frames come in at around £1400 with the carbon back end and ano finish like mine - worth every penny though.

Mine was an insurance replacement for a (very) custom Giant VT that was stolen at the beginning of the year.

Bummer - I think I'd probably cry if my VT was nicked!

I nearly did, my new one more than makes up for it though. I thought the VT was good, it had Pike 454's, Hope Hoops, XT and Hope M4s. but this just takes the biscuit

Yeh, the forks, wheels and shifters (Marx All Mountains, HopeXC/DT Swiss, XT, respectively) have all changed on mine along with a lot of minor bits but still running Hayes brakes, though these may be changing too if I can find the money!
