Thanks folks. Out again tomorrow.

One small point that I love - the finish is brushed metal. This is fine as ti is completely impervious to all water, including salt water. With the unpainted finish, any small scratches can be removed with a piece of Scotchbrite pad being rubbed with the brush marks. I tested this under the seat clamp - and it works! Very Happy

In a word NICE , for me the beauty of a Ti bike is the finish and colour . its will never go out of fashion and should age well if looked after .

ive notice that Enigma will paint your shiny new Ti bike in virtually any colour , why anyone would do this is hard to see Confused

I saw the results of their painting and they do a great job, not just in ti but steel as well.

Whilst I agree about the bare metal of ti being the most desirable, perhaps painting it would be a good disguise as a steel frame ... ? A Reynolds 501 decal set may complete the deception. Cool

Well done.
Money well spent.

I think leaving it in plain brushed Ti was a good call.

I hope you've got some high-tech clothing to wear when you're on it.
You can't ride a bike like that dressed by Anquetil Boutique.

Bit more modern clothing than that, despite the age.

Cool
