Fancying some new wheels as my front is crackling again, my fault I know as I got a bit close with the hose pipe and now it needs stripping down again (Will I ever learn?)

So can anyone recommend any?

Not sure if bladed spokes are worth seeking out, but they must be lightish, include skewers, shimano freehub, not white, and have good sealing, I weigh 12.5 stone and can dodge potholes Laughing

Price flexible, but they need to be an upgrade on the Tiagra rear/Formula front hubbed Alex rims that came on a £900 GT GTR series three GT.

Cheers guys

Got both those wheels and they are ruddy excellent, have done lots of miles and taking a damned battering on some of the crappest moorland roads and never had a problem with either of them.

I'm using Fulcrum wheels as I don't go a lot for Mavic's strange ideas about only 2 pawls and mounting these on the wheel hub rather than the freehub.

The Racing 5 is an great wheel and the Racing 3 is superb. Unreservedly recommend both.

Might have a pop over to Westbrooks on my day off.

Looks like the mavics are a wheel/tyre/tube package which I like, but some of those mavics have very gaudy colour schemes.
