I also have an update.

The ol' starter hardtail "Triggers Broom" has finally been retired after 1years faithful service, it's been great and given me the bug for the sport but it's time for an upgrade.

Another wagon wheeler Im afraid KTM but it rides great.

Only change so far is going tubeless I fear divorce would make a Reverb cost a lot more than it should right now so discretion will remain the better part of valour & I'll get one later in the year.

Here's my baby, 2013 Fuel EX9 - I've owned her from new, I wanted her custom but more a factory style look rather than in your face. I took these pic's wednesday after she was cleaned, you wouldn't know by looking at her shes 2 years old and that I've done around 1500miles of riding according to my computer. I clean her every week and shes my pride and joy and cost more than my bloody motorbike!!

This is my old bike. Its been in storage for yonks. All original components apart from changing the gear shift to Grip shift sram mrx comp.
I've just pumped up the tyres; they're still hard but I reckon they'll need replacing due to their age, same goes for the saddle.
Smashing bike though.

Here's my newest purchase, Gary fisher 17.5" wahoo 29er. Got rid of the cable calipers straight away and fitted Shimano hydraulics and some dmr v8's.
Better tires are next on my list, wider bars and better forks later.

Having a cracking fortnight losing myself & my Trek down here in the Limousin region of France... Some great riding, wicked single track and awesome DH all found & ridden so far.

Just been and recce'd a place called Pierres Jamatres ... It's not really for MTB's but looks too good not to ride... (And there's no signs saying not to)

Gonna return soon with my boy before the locals get outta bed & smash it!

A few new additions to the bike including a brake overhaul and 1x10 conversion, dropped more weight and she now weighs just over 11.7 kgs so very light for a full suspension alloy bike, more plans for upgrade yet including more weight dropping!!
