Hi Alex
Ive done all the local trails round and about the North East, and Chopwell is pretty poor and nowhere near as good as Hamsterly forest! (which isn't too far away)
Welcome to join me sometime if you fancy, best trails ive been on have to be Glentress.
Matt

I've always fancied giving Chopwell a shot. The lads I know that have been say that there's not much there but what is is worth riding.

Chopwell has lots of good trails but nothing is marked so best to go with someone who knows their way round

^^^^^^^
What Spooky said. Forget it unless you know a local. Only 1 marked trail "The Powerline". Everything else is unmarked and you'll struggle to find it. Once you know the place it's easy to kill 2- 3 hours and put about 14 mile together without doing the same trail twice.

Choppers is really good if you know where the trails are... just like thrunton woods.. loads of trails

Be aware that I was at choppers last week and the local nobhead is back sabotaging the trails, I spent 30 mins clearing all the traps away.

Its been reported the the FC and the police
