Do I have any options for stiffening up the front and rear axle? I've got standard quick releases at the moment, is there a bolt-through option to replace them?

Depends on what hubs they are.

Some conversion kits are quite easy to obtain and swap - some are harder to obtain and change (or not cost effective to do so) - some cannot be changed at all

This is the reason both my bikes run Hope hubs - and my last set of wheels even came with the conversion kits

What hubs do you have ?

Also to note is which rear axle you use a is also dependant on the frame. some frames wont take a bigger axles and some axles are frame-specific

and of course, your fork also has to be of the type - of the alxle you are fitting

I don't think I explained myself clearly. Sad

I have standard, skinny QRs. I'm after a solid axle that bolts in place of the QRs to stiffen up the forks and back end. I don't want to buy different forks and that won't help with the rear axle anyway.
I have no idea if such a thing exists, which is really what I'm asking.

Your forks are for 9mm QR Only.

You would need to change your forks to do this, before you even get into changing/adapting your front hub.

You may be able to change the the rear QR to a fixed axle, although I see little point in doing this to a bike with vertical dropouts.

I have this problem at the moment. Want to upgrade forks but a lot/majority of newer forks have 12mm/15mm thru axle. Where as I have QRs , no conversion available.
Correct me if I'm wrong. I need to change my wheels - my only problem is the rear of the frame won't take thru axle as its for a QR. Can you run a QR on the rear and a thru axle on the front?

Cheers Sam

Yes you can and many bikes (and wheel-sets) come with this setup, from new Cool
