Recently i've been experimenting with fore/aft seat positions to a degree of success.

From a personal aspect, regarding saddle position, my main thought is

Why?


It's not as if it can, presumably be moved 'on the go', others are available that have a dual-position clamp, but have to be removed/turned manually


That said, if it works for you, go for it
