OK you must be getting bored of me by now but we had some Snow in good old Wales and it is perfect Fat bike weather so it was a must for me and helped get rid of the hangover. It was great fun overtaking people sledging and a very enjoyable day. Just wish we had snow more often. A short vid of my day

I don't hate them my friend,I think they have their limits.
Add to that the people I see struggling on the trails with them, mid life crisis men and young dudes who have a look of false superiority about them and pig ignorant into the bargain.
FWIW the Ritchey Commando is one of the best looking bikes I have seen. _________________ Dropper Posts Are For The Butt Hurt. |

Hmmm I don't do trails often as prefer real MTB (not a dig but mean I like my own route on mountains) However it depends what trails you mean as fat bikes not really made for big jumps but on rooty dusty/muddy trails they are great. I mass plenty of bikers who all enjoy there own speed and of all ages. Never seen a angry Fat biker but sure they exist... If it gets someone out there who would normally be sat at home then even better. I agree though they have there limits like all bikes and would never see me doing a proper down hill course on mine
And yes the Ritchey Commando is a nice looking bike (not a fan of the colour though) |

Off piste is the way to go dude,by trails I mean 100% natural.
I have a confession to make .
I have ridden one but not in anger ,as in not enough to judge precisely.
So maybe just maybe I will take one out as a demo as Im on good terms with one of the LBS guys.
Just so happens they have one helitaped up .
I will report back asap !!! _________________ Dropper Posts Are For The Butt Hurt. |

Bet you will love it... Can't say to much though as I am almost (as in 3 months away) middle aged
Just remember a fat bike has low pressure in the tyres otherwise you will be bouncing all over the place |
