Hi all,

I've just replaced my X11 X01 chain, since doing so I'm getting a crunching noise coming from the chain when putting pressure on the pedals.

Has anyone had a similar experience?

Thanks
Lee

the usual thing is that the gears have worn to fit the elongated old chain and no longer mesh properly with the new chain, often causes jumping gears or chain
slipping off the chainrings.
also could be the wrong chain ie 9-speed chain on a 10 speed set up etc
or you have gone the wrong way around the jockey wheel and the chain is catching on the little metal bar on the rear derailleur. (sooo easy to get that wrong Embarassed Embarassed )

Thanks for the reply. I've now fixed the issue but replacing the chainring which was worn.
