Although I enjoy riding on my own, I also like going out with others. Does anyone fancy setting up a regular evening ride group.

If anyone is interested:

What is a good night for people?

Where is a good starting point?

What's a good time?

We only have eight weeks of summer left so we need to make the most of it. Not that we've had much bloody summer so far.

Good idea Harry Wink

Tuesday is a good evening for me, and I found Yarm Station, on the B1264, to be a handy start point with some relatively traffic free routes available from there. I would be happy starting around the 5p.m. mark.

The above is just suggestion, though I like Harry's idea and maybe it's something we could definetely build on next year, so put it down on your New Resolutions Lists you guy's Laughing Laughing

I suppose if we could agree on a regular night we could even change the starting points so that everyone got a start close-ish to home

Why not Question

Have you any start points in mind Harry, I was thinking along the lines of traffic quiet routes when I suggested Yarm as there is a wealth of quiet back lanes in that area, ideal for group riding especially if newer, less stronger riders were to attend, but I'm happy to remain flexible Wink

Ok then, sounds like Tuesday is the best night. Yarm is fine for me. Gives me a 15 mile warm-up before we start and a 15-mile cool down Cool
