Hey

Replaced my pads with Avids own a few times, and they seem to last a pathetic amount of time, back one wore down in two muddy 20mile XC rides.

Any idea if either of these would be any good, they seem stupidly cheap.

or the more expensive

I think the best thing to do is just to shop around and try different brands and see which you develop a preference for. Sometimes the best savings come from buying in bulk, so once you do find a pad you feel comfortable with then stock up on them.
