DATE...............TUESDAY 29nd JULY

MEET................YARM STATION (on the B1264)

TIME ................1820 hours

DISTANCE.........30mile (approx)

TERRAIN............HILLY 50% LEVEL 50%

PACE.................MODERATE 15-17m.p.h. avg.


ROUTE................From station turn right on to B1264, cross over roundabout and turn right at H.M.P. Kirklevington. Head through Middleton-on Leven, Seamer to Stokesley. At Stokesley turn right for Kirkby then on to Gt Broughton.

Turn right in Gt Broughton to head up Clay Bank and onto Chop Gate. In Chop Gate turn right and head across to Carlton, then onto Hutton Rudby.

From Hutton Rudby make for Crathorne and back to Yarm Station via A67.

i might be able to join yous on one of your easier routes if its ok with yous.

my fitness leval getting much better now getting lots of training in for some races Wink

Grant, I'm sure you'll have no problems with this ride, it's the next step in your training programme, getting a few longer hills in Wink

And John, I'm sure your fitness is well capable of handling this route. In terms of training, this is a sort of February Forum Ride for the road Wink

This route can really improve your off road performance when done with the right attitude. Wink

Marty, after next weeks ride I will be away on Leave for a week, then may organise a ride we have done the week before last, nice level route with a few lower grade climbs, why not try and get along.

thanks gunner will defantly try and get along.

should do me good for league 2000. al not have my road bike but will have ma scott and im putting some slicks on.(got lockout on the forks aswell Wink )
