Just after a bit of info on Hamsterley if anyone rides there often?
I'm off work for the rest of the week after just getting back from Glentress and Innerleithen and because i'm still in one piece fancied a bast out somewhere different tomorrow. I had a look through the thread on the charity ride that some of you did and noticed that it mentioned there were alot of trails that weren't waymarked. Is it a bit of a slog around like the red at Dalby cos i'm not a big fan of that, ill be riding on my own so will just probably be following a map around.
Also will all the trails be open after the heavy rain we've had?
Any info or advice of the best route to take, black, red etc would be appreciated. Also a map if anyone has one available, I couldn't find one online. Cheers

To be honest you'll get a better answer by asking Hamsterley Trailblazers here http://www.hamsterley-trailblazers.co.uk/ - most of us here have only been to Hamsterley once or twice.

Black is OK but won't take long at all, red is longer but a lot of fireroad. Like Guis, the best bits are unmarked and you really need a local 'guide' to show you - someone from Trailblazers might offer.
