SUMMER 2008 Cool

SUMMER 2008 Rolling Eyes

SUMMER 2008 Confused

SUMMER 2008 Crying or Very sad

Know what I'm saying Laughing

Everyone I seem to be talking to is complaining about the weather or lack of it, should I say..........and how Summers years ago used to be one hot long lazy dream.............

But, I'm not so sure!!!!

I mean, the weather hasn't really stopped me doing that much this year, I've certainly got plenty of miles in, both on and off road, and picked up some decent tan lines to boot Embarassed Embarassed

As for the Summers gone by, yes we've had the odd, long hot one here and there but certainly not as many as people seem to believe, and anyway, there's not many days in the U.K. when you can go out for the day and not take a waterproof with you is there Question

What do you think Question

also another thought

riding in the wet ( in my opinion ) will improve your confidence and that mental block when the dry does come.

what i'm trying to say is when your in the dry you can sort of say to yourself, this is alot more grippier than the wet, lets go faster and see if i can get the bike slidin around like in the wet ( which would be in a faster fashion of course)

what do yous think Question

I think the issue with this year is that its rained at least every other day (or overnight) so the trails haven't dried out like they usually do. Even when last summer was quite wet there was a period of 4 weeks in April when it didnt rain. I also think most people were really hoping for a dry summer this year as last year was quite wet too. Sad
