Hi,
Anybody got or have access to a headset press and/or crown race puller? Just got a new headset for the Orange 5 and dont want to risk the frame using the block of wood and hammer method. The race will have to come off the Pikes too but its a FSA split race replacing it, so easy to fit.

Any help would be appreciated.

Big flat screwdriver for the crown race working both sides. There is normally a lip to get one in.

Not sure where my headset press is at the moment. I really should find it or ask the last borrower.

If you were going to buy one this is the best budget model.

Thanks Tom. Might have a go with a screw driver but I've scratched forks before trying to do it. I think Doc Horlock used your press a couple of years ago to fit a headset to my old GT......he's probably still got it in that garage/aladin's cave of his Laughing

I think it's over the road as I'm in a bit of a state still with extension. I need it back though so if your over this way I can probably whack it in.

As for the crown race - be more careful ;0)
